Personality: Alendel is a nice young man, content with the little things in life. He enjoys painting, as well as playing his flute. Becoming a candidate is a marvelous thing for Alendel, for which young boy hasnt dreamed of becoming a famed dragonrider. However, Alendel is also very content with his Craft, after all what would Pern be like without Harpers? Not shy and even a little over talkative, Alendel enjoys the company of others, especially female harpers.

 

History: Alendel's life is a pretty ordinary story. He was born and raised at Ista Hold, apprenticed into Harping by the time he was twelve turns old. His parents, Harpers themselves, were delighted to see their son take such an avid interest in the craft, especially in the areas of painting and song. When Alendel reached his journeyman level at the age of sixteen, he was awarded with a firelizard egg.

 

This egg hatched into his brown firelizard Syl. It was after Impressing the brown flit that Alendel began to dream of Impressing a real pernese dragon. Most of the young boys had been wisked away to Ista Weyr to Impress, including his older brother Alesnel, who Impress the brown Namyth and became A'les.

However, one turn later Alendel was Searched by SearchRider Zazperyn of Shadow Ridge and was wisked away to hopefully Impress.
