Physical InfoPhsical Description: Zaz is tall girl, all backbone and whipcord. She's a runner and her tone leg muscles show it. She's 5'7 and her thin body structure makes her look rather boyish. Long hands are tipped with long fingers and her breasts are rather small. A triangular face with very darkly tanned as is the rest of her body. Her legs and slender and her feet are long and narrow. Her ears are small, unremarkable. They have not been peirced with any kind of jewelry. On her left arm though there is a tattoo of a dragon done in black ink. It isn't very good and infact on of the wings looks whithered, but she still likes it. Large eyes are a comely shade of brown-grey with only the slightest flecks of green. Her wavy hair, which almost looks permed, with a lovely shade of rusty red with slightly golden highlights. During the summer, it can lighten to look almost like a dark strawberry blonde color. During the cold winter, it can darken to a color almost called auburn. She has a slight widows peek on her forhead. On her neck are three small moles and a tiny scar where one has been torn off. Her cheek bones are high and she has a dimple on her chin. When clothes are not being worn, one can see the lacerations of old scars over her back, legs and ankles. Most of these scars are from falls and tumbles she has taken while competing in a race or otherwise.
Clothing/Weapons:
Zaz's usual dress is brown or black trousers, boy's cut is the only size that will fit right. The trousers are usually torn in places and dirty. She wears black, wore in boots and clean brown chemises with leather vests that lace up. She wears no jewelry and owns no dresses of her own. Her favorite outfit is a pair of wore black trousers made from tough hide. A dark brown tank top of sorts covers her chest and a black suade vest goes over that. Fingerless brown leather gloves protect her hands and as always she has her black, wore in boots
Personality:
Zaz is competitive and likes to be challenged. She's athletic and loves to run, daring people to races of speed around the weyr. She has a great sense of humor than border lines of being considered dirty. Shes very hard working and likes to work, she belives it builds chracter. Shes very close to her brother and is very proud that he is a dragon rider. She hopes that one day she could Impress a dragon too. When angry, she storms about her room like a queen dragon in heat, cursing and then usually drinking herself into a stupor. This is usually what happens when she cant call out the offender to a fight. When Zaz is becoming furious, her hands clench and she grinds her teeth. She also shakes from the tension in her legs. She gets all choked up and cant talk at first and sputters. It is all very amusing at first until she slams her boney fist into your nose. But, when Zaz is in a joyus mood, one can hear a robust laugh coming straight from her gut. Her cheeks flush and her grin is wide, showing off slightly off-white teeth. Her likes to give hugs when she is extremly happy, and its usual that she will pick up and swings you around with much glee.
History:
Zaz was raised in a wandering caravan, with her mother Zamina and her elder brother Zalmen. Her father's name was Harun. Zalmen was only 2 years old when Zazperyn was born. It was a great joy to the little family, having a little daughter to dote on. But Sadly, Harun caught fire head and soon died of the horrible fever. Zamina was broken hearted, but she had a duty to her son and daughter. She raised them herself. Zaz idolized her brother, following him through his adventures through the wilds of Pern. Much of this adventuring has caused her the scars that adorn her body. When Zel was 16, Zalmen won two firelizard eggs in a game of cards while visiting one of the many northern holds. He gave one to his 14 year old sister, Zaz.
Four weeks later it hatched into a beautiful blue firelizard. Zaz called him Aubri and adorned him throughly. He reminded her of a small dragon and she had always adorned dragon as a little girl. She used to dream about riding one, but it seemed only a distant dream. So few searches now of days, it probably would never happen. So she continued to romp around with her brother and the boys of the Hold. She never espoused, never wanted too and no one dared forced her. She grew into a rather comely girl, not beautiful but not plain. Wonderful news came to the family when she was 16 turns old. Her 18 turn old brother Zal, had been searched by Telgar Weyr.
After waiting for new of the Hatching, she found out that he had managed to Impress a brown dragon named Januth. She was thrilled and so was her mother. Her mother died when she was 20 turns old, her heart had failed her during the night.
Zaz was sad for a time, her brother gone and mother dead, she was all alone except for Aubri, her faithful blue firelizard. She had little chose but to go to the first Hold she found and request a place to live. Lemos granted her that. Two turns would go by before anything would change. But a little after her 22th birthing day, a SearchRider came to Lemos Hold. He was from Ista and Zaz was Searched to stand for their clutch.
Excited to be taking the same path as her brother, Zaz went to Ista will the determination of Impressing a dragonet, no matter the color. Luckily, the day of the Hatching, she was not dissapointed. One of the first eggs to hatch spilled forth a long and slender green dragonet. Shaking her head, the green marched right over to Zaz and Impression was made.
Zazperyn had managed to impress a green, a dragonet who called herself Mrath. Weyrling training seemed like a blur, a quick passage of time before they were both transfered straight out of Ista to Shadow Ridge. Zaz had only been a full ride for about 2 turns went she and her Mrath were sent to Shadow Ridge to become part of the Search Wing.

Physical Description: Mrath is a slender green, long and lithe like her rider. Her hide is a very rich shade of polished emerald with jade green striations along the neck and back. Her wingmembranes and underbelly are a slightly light shade of vivid pine green. Mrath hasnt a scar on her body. Her long, narrow head makes it easier for her to fly faster.

Personality: Mrath is very proud ofthe fact that she thinks she knows everything. Especially when it come to Searching. Not to say, Mrath has nothing to show for it, in that past she has Searched two female candidates who have Impressed Gold. For this she is very proud and Mrath is also very vain. She would like to think all the bronze, browns and blues want her, being the prettiest of all the green dragons.

Color/Physical Description: Aubri is a delciate shade of pearly blue, with only slightly darker shades of ocean blue in the wing membranes. His quite larger than most blue firelizards and his wings are Impressive. He has a slight blue strip over his muzzle and this strip is a dark navy blue.
Personality:Aubri loves to snuggle and is a very touchy-feely firelizard. He loves getting treats, scratches, pets and rub downs with smooth oil. He likes nuzzling up under Zaz's chin. especially when he is sleepy. He spends a great time sunning and bathing when he isn't snuggling with people.
